What your CSR budget leaves behind in the city

With companies we develop projects aimed at bees, pollinators, biodiversity and the education of children. A collaboration can cover branded hives, the planting of melliferous plants and trees, support for the Hive of Knowledge project, training for employees, or a programme built around the specific goals of the company.

01What it looks like

A hive gets a name, and it stays here

A company takes on one or more colonies in the Honey Garden. Your mark goes on the lid, we look after the bees through the whole year, and the honey from that season goes to you, in jars with your own label.

That is how we work with the Embassy of Sweden. Their hive stands in the garden and does the same work every other hive does.

02What you get

Four things you take away with you

There are 45 bee colonies in the garden, and room for more. This is what stays with you after the partnership, and what we can put on paper.

  • A named hiveYour mark on a hive in the Honey Garden, and arranged visits to it through the season.
  • Honey with your labelHoney from that season, in jars with your own design.
  • A report on the workWhat was done, where, with whom and at what scale, written so it can go into your annual report.
  • Material for your own channelsPhotographs and footage from the action, with permission to use them.

Two projects that are already running

We do not build a project from scratch if we do not have to. These two are already standing, and a company can step into either one.

Preschool children come to the Honey Garden, with the Novak Đoković Foundation and the GAIA movement. Partner support covers the cost of the trip.

Biodiversity

Planting and biodiversity

Planting nectar trees and flowers across the city, and meadows deliberately left unmown. 5,200 plants are already in the ground.

04Measuring

The part that can actually be counted

We do not issue certificates and we do not promise percentages. We count what we did: how many colonies were taken on, how many plants went into the ground and where, how many children came through a workshop and from which kindergarten.

Pollination is the one part that works without us. A worker will travel up to three kilometres from the hive for forage, so what you plant around the Silosi does not stay only yours.

05How it starts

From an enquiry to a planted tree

  1. The enquiry

    You write how many of you there are, what matters to you, and whether there is a date in the year by which the project has to be standing.

  2. A walk through the garden

    You come to the Honey Garden, you see the hives and the space, and together we pick what makes sense for you.

  3. The proposal

    We write down what we do, when, with whom and at what scale. If the project goes outside the garden, that is where the schools and the planting sites get agreed.

  4. The action and the report

    We do the work and we photograph it. At the end you get the report and the material for your own channels.
